In his Friday speech to the women’s conference in Islamabad, Imran Khan, the former prime minister declared that he was not engaging in politics but rather waging “war” to secure “true freedom” for the betterment of the nation.

Imran Khan Women’s Conference:

Imran stated that without the rule of law, societies are destroyed in reference to the NAB law revisions. “Theft has taken over the nation. Their cases are being closed every day, he observed.

Imran said that if the wealthy cannot be held accountable by the law, then the poor should be freed from prison.

“What is the poor’s fault? The likes of Zardaris and Sharifs are in power worldwide in underdeveloped nations with no legal system, he said.

The accountability courts, where the most powerful persons used to stand trial before them before the NAB legislation revisions, have begun returning corruption references to the NAB chairman since the accused could no longer be convicted because the courts lack pecuniary jurisdiction in the cases.

Speaking to the attendees of the gathering, Imran claimed that the current leaders have rendered themselves “NRO-II” in corruption cases totaling Rs. 1,100 billion, making a mockery of the accountability system.

He emphasised that overthrowing his government with a vote of no-confidence caused the “successful economy” to crash.

Imran claimed that uncertainty is a “deadly poison” for the economy, and that it can only be removed by calling for early elections.

While the “crime minister [PM Shehbaz Sharif] and the ministers are spending the nation’s money on lavish excursions,” millions of Pakistanis are suffering from natural disasters like floods.

Imran said his fight for “true freedom” has reached a turning point and that he will soon issue a call for protest, urging the party leaders to remain ready.

Separately, Imran Khan presided over a gathering of PTI senators in Islamabad where he voiced opposition to the NAB changes.

He claimed that while millions of his compatriots were struggling to survive flooding, the “crime minister” and his cabinet members were squandering tax dollars on expensive excursions abroad.

The PTI chairman advised party members to be prepared, saying that “puppets and conspirators would not be permitted to do more harm and ruin to the nation and its citizens.

Mr. Khan asserted that the nation’s future generation was at stake in the fight for “Haqiqi Azadi.”

He claimed that the NAB statutes had been changed to permit the government to routinely dismiss corruption charges against some of its officials and to ensure that they could return to Pakistan from overseas without worrying about being charged with graft.

According to the PTI chairman, in a society devoid of justice, people are treated worse than animals. If someone wants to witness modern-day slavery at its worst, they could travel to Sindh and observe how the “strong wolves” have maintained the population there.

Mr. Khan explained to convention attendees that they were waging Jihad for genuine freedom rather than engaging in politics.
