Moonis Elahi Bail:
A court in Lahore has entended the interm bail of PML-Q leader and memeber from National Assembly Moonis Elahi till July 14 in Rs24 billion money laundering case.
The Punjab banking court Judge Muhammad Aslam Gondal on Monday heard the bail applications of MNA Moonis Elahi, Muhammad Khan and Wajid Khan Bhatti.
Moonis showed up under the watchful eye of the court and presented his records.
The FIA Registered Rs24 billion illegal money laundering against Moonis and others.
The FIA blamed Moonis for laundering cash through his sugar business.
During the hearing, the judge asked the FIA official to finish his investigation and present his report at the earliest. He chided the Investigation Officer for wasting time.
The IO let the court know that he had looked for record from different people after which the investigation would be finished.
He said that 47% investigation was finished.
While guiding the IO to finish investigation by the following hearing date, he put dismissed from everything related this issue till July 14.

Then again, Moonis while talking with media outside the court said that the PML-Q was completely ready for the upcoming by election in Punjab.
He said the party was running its electioneering and things were very great.
When a reporter asked him whether Pervaiz Elahi would become chief minister of Punjab, he answered positively by saying ‘In Sha Allah yes’.
