A nail-biting game indeed! Pakistan has a history of winning matches on the very last ball of the game. A similar match was seen today,
Pakistan Vs Afghanistan:
it was Pakistan’s second match in the Final Four of Asia Cup 2022 against Afghanistan. The game was a thriller, and there were many twists and turns along the way.
Pakistan won the toss and chose to field at first, but the situation was seen to be in favor of Afghanistan in the beginning.
Because they were constantly hitting fours and sixes in the first powerplay and Pakistan was able to get only 2 wickets in 6 overs.
However, as the match moved on, Hazratullah Zazai was the ultimate hope of everyone because he was playing really well and also he is known for his amazing hits in T20 Cricket. But his wicket was soon gone at just 21 runs by Muhammad Hasnain.
However, Pakistan managed to strangle the Afghanistan team at an average total of 130 runs. But people were too shocked and shaken up too because there was a fast fall of the wicket of the Pakistan team’s Captain, Babar Azam.
It was only the second ball of their innings and he returned back to the pavilion. The whole crowd of the stadium was stunned and heart wrenched by Babar’s wicket in the very beginning.

But let’s face it, Pakistanis are now used to such thrilling conditions. There was still hope for the win as the whole match was pending.
However, after Babar, Fakhar’s wicket also fell pretty soon. On the other hand, Muhammad Rizwan score a couple of boundaries for the team and made the score a little better.
Furthermore, there were many ups and downs and a very fast fall of wickets of Muhammad Nawaz, Khushdill Shah, and Haris Rauf, which disappointed all the crowd and Pakistanis to the core! But Shadab did pretty well by hitting a couple of sixes and fours as well to make the team closer to the targetted score.
In the end, it was almost 9 wickets and Naseem Shah came in for batting, as it was the very last over and there were still 10 runs to be scored, people were extremely anxious and scared as well that what is going to happen.
Naseem Shah then hit a fantastic six on the first ball of the last over. After that shot, there was a sudden rise in the spirit of everyone that he could do something.
And it was not wrong! Naseem Shah on the second ball of the last over hit a winning six, and celebrated the historic win of his team!
